This season, I was promoted to Marketing Manager for the team. I am responsible for strategic planning, content strategy and execution of posts across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. Additionally, I create content for all social media platforms by designing graphics and editing pictures along with filming and editing videos for the arena’s big screens.

This was a story to remind people of our jersey sale.

Each player has a song they chose for the player playlist highlight (it plays music but I can't upload vertical videos).

This story highlights an Ice Dawg for his achievement.

Special Events

SPECIAL EVENTS

We have had many posts for special events including giveaways, limited-time jersey sales, and our annual Pink in the Rink games to raise awareness for breast cancer through our partnership with Bulldogs Battling Breast Cancer (BBBC). During that weekend, the team was able to raise $10,177 for the BBBC. We also create posts for holidays like Veterans Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and more.

During the week leading up to Senior Night, each senior had trivia questions for fans to vote on.

This graphic and the video on the right were to promote UGA Hockey's Golf Classic, the team's biggest fundraising event.

These were themed game day posts for our Pink in the Rink games.

 One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to highlight players' personalities and make fans feel as if they know the team personally. Through these interactive posts, we have been able to create relationships between our followers and the team. 

The top 3 were "guess the bachelor" posts for Valentine's Day. The bottom left was a mustache competition for No-Shave November. The bottom right was a Halloween costume bracket and the winner was posted on Halloween.
